My latest coffee-filter poem, dangling from my porch wind chime. By hand, I pen one of my own poems on the “pages” created by folding, creasing, snipping, and taping bunches of new white filters for coffee-makers. One poem, one line per “page.”

You are a visual artist as well as a poet

  2. Just tip-toed through your links to 6 other posts and even listened to the audio of the firefly’s demise.
Your blog is so classically formatted. so precise. so focused.
And now you’re hanging coffee filters to wind chimes. Reminds me of the calligraphers in Portland OR when they hung tiny teabag labels done in hand lettering from the branches of the trees.
Wrung my heart with the poem to your husband too.
You funny little she elf you.
Send me the address so I can invite you to the latest art show with opening on Oct 9th from 4-6PMat CGCC Gallery, called Kaaterskill, Hudson NY
