Month 1:20

I hereby inaugurate the “Jellyfish Award”

bestowed upon a single haunting delicate sonnet

which is not just a strung-out extended metaphor

for Love Undying,  but which is really, truly immortal

in that never-ending, everlasting,  jelly-deathless way.

by Therese L. Broderick

NOTE: One type of very small, delicate jellyfish is biologically immortal (just so long as it doesn’t get eaten or otherwise destroyed by external threats).

  1. Immortality. Now, would that be a blessing or a curse, Therese? Maybe we should ask Mr Shakespeare!
