Today is Small Business Saturday, a day to shop for holiday gifts at non-mega stores. Recently I bought several books — including collections of poetry — at my local indie Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza.
Thank you for the recommendation.
I went to Millerton and to the book store there where I met 2 YA writers, one of whom I had met at a Highlights Foundation Workshop, and another from Rhinebeck.
KLGoing’s book, “Fat Kid Rules the World” is made into a film.
Ann Burg works in fiction books in verse. “Serafina’s Promise” chronicles the hurricane in Haiti.
I’m collecting these books in verse, but don’t have the longevity to start one. No room for my illustrations.
